¡BIOFIX BIC Wins Climate Action Award for Adaptation and Transition to Climate Change!
BIOFIX BIC has been recognized as the winner in the prestigious category of Adaptation and Transition to Climate Change for Climate Action. This award is a testament to the hard work we have been doing in Colombia and Brazil for more than 5 years. Thanks to conservation projects based on the REDD+ methodology, we have achieved this important milestone in the fight against climate change.
This award is the result of the continuous effort we have dedicated to our work. Over the years, we have implemented more than 11 REDD+ projects in territories belonging to community councils and indigenous communities. These communities have joined our commitment to environmental conservation and play a fundamental role in the global effort to protect the environment and in the commercialization of carbon credits to strengthen their local governance.
This recognition motivates us to continue our mission of mitigating the effects of climate change through nature-based solutions. We are committed to working tirelessly to find innovative and effective ways to address this global challenge. We thank all the communities and partners who have been by our side on this journey.
