At the prestigious Adrienne Arsht, in a historic event, Ana Milena Plata, CEO of BIOFIX, Dilian Francisca Toro, Governor of Valle, Julia Miranda, Representative to the Chamber in Colombia, and Daniella Levine Cava, Mayor of Miami-Dade County, among 26 other female leaders for the planet, stood out at the closing of the Miami Climate Week; an event that mobilized over 5,000 people for a week, showcasing their commitment to the environment.
At the closing event of the Miami Climate Week, these 30 female leaders came together to share and highlight stories of struggle, innovation, resilience, empathy, and leadership, all aimed at realizing a planet that aspires to have 30% of its areas protected by 2030.

During the event, an enriching dialogue was held with Ati Quigua (activist, environmental politician, and indigenous peacemaker from the Arhuaco people of Colombia), addressing the challenges faced by indigenous women in national politics, the environment, and strategies for overcoming them.
Her trajectory and experience as a business leader in the global carbon market served as the bridge for Colombian entrepreneur Ana Milena Plata to be chosen as one of the 30 female leaders for the planet, a platform she used to emphasize the crucial role that the carbon market can play in women's development and the promotion of gender equity.
It is noteworthy that Climate Week Miami featured the participation of hundreds of personalities from both the public and private sectors, committed to the protection of the planet and the promotion of sustainable solutions, including BIOFIX.
