Our origin dates back to 2018, following the implementation of instruments for climate financing, such as the carbon tax and the non-causation mechanism in Colombia. Since then, we have specialized in the development of nature-based solutions, and we have assumed the role of facilitator in the management of the CO2 emissions of all-sized companies in Colombia.
By 2022, we have developed large-scale conservation projects, structured under the REDD+ (Reduction of Emissions due to Deforestation and forest Degradation) methodology, which, in partnership with indigenous and afro-colombian communities, they have been recognized in Latin America as benchmark projects for climate change mitigation and the improvement of the quality of life of ethnic communities.
The structuring of the REDD+ projects is focused on the plans of life of the communities, while respecting their autonomy in the governance of their territory. Through this structuring, we monitor the protection of forests and species of flora and fauna in danger of extinction.
