How to negotiate a carbon credit contract with a population of completely different origin and culture?
This Legal Design project applied to the contract utilized information design and user experience resources to facilitate understanding and break down communication barriers with the Iny Karajá indigenous community.
The process involved immersion in the community, where the preferences of the indigenous people were verified. Subsequently, a layout with the application of icons and flowcharts was created, the interpretation of the proposed design in the document was analyzed, and research on the Karajá language was conducted to apply it to the contract.
In the end, a document was created that generated empathy within the community. It is a design aligned with human rights.
