Yaawi IIpana REDD+ is selected as one of the top 50 conservation projects in the Biodiversity category of the Green Awards.

In the version 2022 Awards Green, the Project Yaawi IIpana REDD+ was ranked number 38 among the top 500 of Latin america, due to its alignment with social actions and the environment in Colombia.
This project, located in the department of Guaviare that protects 248.046 hectares of humid tropical forest, is proposed by the Indigenous reservation Morichal Viejo, Santa Rosa, Cerro Cocuy, Santa Cruz, Cano Tapir and others, and its main objective is to minimize the impact caused by deforestation and forest degradation through a comprehensive vision of development of the territory.
To 2022, through the activities of the project has been reduced 448.601 Tonnes of CO2e, and supported in the marketing of carbon credits, it seeks to improve the quality of life of more than a thousand people.
