BANAKALE - ISIMALI REDD+
BANAKALE ISIMALI REDD+ is composed of the Indigenous reserves Plain of the Volume and St. Thérèse of the Tuparro, who all work together to protect the forest by reducing and monitoring deforestation.
With the activities of this project will benefit more than 3,000 people belonging to the guards and inhabitants of the territory.
O seu nome 'BANAKALE' vem da língua indígena do povo Sikuani, que significa a variedade de sementes que ficam em conucos (roça) e nas hortas e a palavra "ISIMALI" significa trabalho, força, dedicação, responsabilidade e liderança, o que complementa o trabalho que realiza na comunidade através deste projeto REDD.
